TIER 1 INVESTOR VISA

The Tier 1 Investor Visa  Application

If you are seeking to operate a business or businesses in the UK

without the restrictions, and you  possess the resources to make the

investor visa a viable, the Tier 1 (Investor visa), ( as a high value

migration route) provides the most flexibility to work and live in the

UK.

Eligibility Requirements and Leave of Stay:

​

To be eligible, you must as an applicant possess and invest at least

£2 million into UK businesses, within the first three months of your

visa being granted. 

Under this visa route, you are not required to have a job offer before

you can make an application. Further, there is no requirement that

your visa application be sponsored. You will also not need to satisfy

the English requirement or be expected to demonstrate sufficient maintenance funds.

For investors with £2million or more to invest into UK businesses, it is

a flexible route to enter, work, and secure citizenship in the UK.  

 

If you meet the eligibility requirements and are already in the UK, you

may switch into this visa route from the following visas:

 

    •    Tier 1 (General)

    •    Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)

    •    any Tier 2 category

    •    Tier 4 (General student)

 

This visa is granted for an initial three- year and 4 -month period,

although you can apply to extend your visa for a further two years.
